HVAC Specialist Technician (Independent Contractor)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Specialist Technician to join our team as an Independent Contractor at Climate Control Pros S.A.S., 450 N 3rd St, Miami, FL 33128. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain various Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, including split units, central systems, mini-splits, and heat pump systems.
  • Perform performance assessments and refrigerant leak testing, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering effective troubleshooting solutions on-site, and clearly explaining the scope of work to be performed.
  • Manage and maintain detailed records of services completed, parts inventory, and customer transactions using our service management software.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and property owners to meet key project deadlines and ensure prompt service delivery.
  • Stay current with the latest HVAC technologies, refrigerants, and industry best practices to deliver optimal service quality.
  • Participate in briefings and training sessions to maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and safety standards.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this position, a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. We are seeking candidates with an EPA Section 608 Certification (for refrigerant handling), which is essential. It is preferred that the candidate has one (1) to three (3) years of proven experience in the HVAC or refrigeration services field. Furthermore, demonstrated skills in installation, fault diagnosis, and the expert handling of common HVAC tools and technologies (such as pressure gauges, leak detectors, and multimeters) are fundamental. While not mandatory, additional industry-specific certifications, such as NATE, are highly valued.
