Very reliable and fairly priced. Helped me last minute and on a weekend at my restaurant with my air unit that went out.
I have called Tyler a ton over the past three years for servicing, preventative maintenance, and repair quotes at various properties all over Arizona. The work by him and his team is always top quality. They are my go-to resource in the region.
We had a really great experience with AC Refrigeration when they helped us upgrade our chiller with a remote condenser. They handled everything and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Easy to work with, kind, and very professional. They truly live up to their name — fair, straightforward pricing. They stayed later than expected to make sure everything was running perfectly. A team we trust and will be calling again.
After my AC went out at the worst possible time, right at the start of the hottest early summer, I was extremely stressed. My unit is nearly 22 years old. Megan connected me with their company and her husband Tyler came out first thing and got the unit running right away. Professional, kind, and never tried to upsell me. He even came back at 8pm to make sure everything was fixed. They truly saved me thousands and restored cool air for me, my young son, and our animals. Highly recommend!
After getting several quotes, Tyler from Discount Air was the only one who didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. He was honest, straightforward, and focused on what actually made sense. Because of that integrity, he literally saved me thousands of dollars. Professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy from start to finish. 10/10 — highly recommend.
Called Discount for a second opinion on my AC repair. Tyler came out the following day and saved me a ton of money by repairing only what needed to be repaired. Will use Discount again!
We looked to get an island hood install. Another company gave us an excessive quote without even checking the attic. Then we found Discount AC & R! Easy to talk to and quick to come out. Tyler went through everything including the attic and explained things to us. They beat the competition — quoted us 30% of what the other company was charging — with a quality, prompt install and amazing customer service. I cannot tell you how happy we are with the final product. I'm finally in my master chef era!
We use Discount AC as a sub. So from another professional in the industry, they are doing things well. Thank you Discount AC for all your help.

Scottsdale presents unique HVAC challenges that differ from most East Valley cities. Higher-end homes in areas like North Scottsdale, DC Ranch, and Grayhawk often feature complex multi-zone systems, variable-speed equipment, and integrated home automation that requires technicians with advanced training. Our team handles these premium systems with the same expertise we bring to standard residential repairs.
Scottsdale is also home to one of the densest restaurant and hospitality corridors in Arizona. Old Town Scottsdale alone has hundreds of restaurants, bars, and hotels that depend on commercial refrigeration and HVAC daily. We maintain walk-in coolers, prep station refrigeration, and bar ice machines for establishments along Scottsdale Road, Camelback Road, and the Entertainment District. Many of these businesses need after-hours service to avoid disrupting peak dining hours, and our extended availability until midnight covers those needs.
From our Queen Creek location, Scottsdale is approximately 35 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. While not our closest service area, we maintain a strong presence there because Scottsdale customers value quality workmanship and honest pricing over proximity alone. Our transparent quoting process, where you approve every cost before we start, resonates particularly well with Scottsdale property owners and managers who have experienced surprise charges from other providers.
