When a commercial rooftop AC unit stops cooling, cycles repeatedly or leaves part of the building warm, the cause may be airflow, controls, electrical components or the refrigeration circuit. Discount AC & Refrigeration provides rooftop unit diagnostics, repair and maintenance for Phoenix-area businesses, including offices, retail spaces and industrial buildings.
A useful service visit starts with the symptom and the operating conditions. Tell us which zones are affected, when the problem began and whether the unit runs continuously or shuts down. Have the model information and recent service history available if you can access them safely; rooftop access and equipment checks should be left to qualified technicians.
Our RTU service covers coils, fans, belts, economizer operation, controls and electrical faults. Before approving a repair, ask for the diagnosed cause, the proposed work and an itemized scope. Recurring failures, major component damage and the condition of the remaining system help determine whether a repair or replacement makes better sense.
For ongoing care, explore commercial HVAC preventive maintenance. Planning a new unit? See our Phoenix rooftop replacement guide and commercial AC installation service. Call with your equipment issue and building location to confirm availability.
Servicing rooftop units requires more than standard HVAC knowledge. Technicians must work safely at heights, understand packaged system components, and address the unique wear patterns caused by Arizona’s climate. Our service targets the problems that rooftop exposure creates.
Rooftop units combine heating, cooling, and ventilation in one package, making them convenient but complex. Their exposed location subjects components to harsher conditions than ground-level equipment. Regular rooftop unit service addresses these unique demands.
