Very reliable and fairly priced. Helped me last minute and on a weekend at my restaurant with my air unit that went out.
I have called Tyler a ton over the past three years for servicing, preventative maintenance, and repair quotes at various properties all over Arizona. The work by him and his team is always top quality. They are my go-to resource in the region.
We had a really great experience with AC Refrigeration when they helped us upgrade our chiller with a remote condenser. They handled everything and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Easy to work with, kind, and very professional. They truly live up to their name — fair, straightforward pricing. They stayed later than expected to make sure everything was running perfectly. A team we trust and will be calling again.
After my AC went out at the worst possible time, right at the start of the hottest early summer, I was extremely stressed. My unit is nearly 22 years old. Megan connected me with their company and her husband Tyler came out first thing and got the unit running right away. Professional, kind, and never tried to upsell me. He even came back at 8pm to make sure everything was fixed. They truly saved me thousands and restored cool air for me, my young son, and our animals. Highly recommend!
After getting several quotes, Tyler from Discount Air was the only one who didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. He was honest, straightforward, and focused on what actually made sense. Because of that integrity, he literally saved me thousands of dollars. Professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy from start to finish. 10/10 — highly recommend.
Called Discount for a second opinion on my AC repair. Tyler came out the following day and saved me a ton of money by repairing only what needed to be repaired. Will use Discount again!
We looked to get an island hood install. Another company gave us an excessive quote without even checking the attic. Then we found Discount AC & R! Easy to talk to and quick to come out. Tyler went through everything including the attic and explained things to us. They beat the competition — quoted us 30% of what the other company was charging — with a quality, prompt install and amazing customer service. I cannot tell you how happy we are with the final product. I'm finally in my master chef era!
We use Discount AC as a sub. So from another professional in the industry, they are doing things well. Thank you Discount AC for all your help.

Gilbert is one of our closest service areas, just 15 minutes from our Queen Creek headquarters. That proximity means Gilbert customers often get the fastest response times of any city we serve, including same-day emergency visits for both residential and commercial systems. We regularly service homes in Val Vista Lakes, Power Ranch, Agritopia, and the Gilbert Heritage District.
Gilbert has grown rapidly over the past decade, and many newer subdivisions feature two-story homes with dual-zone HVAC systems. These setups require technicians who understand proper airflow balancing between floors, a common complaint we solve for Gilbert homeowners every summer. We also see a high number of heat pump installations in Gilbert, where homeowners want year-round efficiency without a separate furnace.
On the commercial side, Gilbert Town Square, SanTan Village, and the restaurant corridor along Gilbert Road keep us busy with walk-in cooler repairs, rooftop unit maintenance, and ice machine service. Many Gilbert restaurant owners choose our preventive maintenance contracts specifically because our proximity means we can respond to refrigeration emergencies within an hour during business hours.
