Very reliable and fairly priced. Helped me last minute and on a weekend at my restaurant with my air unit that went out.
I have called Tyler a ton over the past three years for servicing, preventative maintenance, and repair quotes at various properties all over Arizona. The work by him and his team is always top quality. They are my go-to resource in the region.
We had a really great experience with AC Refrigeration when they helped us upgrade our chiller with a remote condenser. They handled everything and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. Easy to work with, kind, and very professional. They truly live up to their name — fair, straightforward pricing. They stayed later than expected to make sure everything was running perfectly. A team we trust and will be calling again.
After my AC went out at the worst possible time, right at the start of the hottest early summer, I was extremely stressed. My unit is nearly 22 years old. Megan connected me with their company and her husband Tyler came out first thing and got the unit running right away. Professional, kind, and never tried to upsell me. He even came back at 8pm to make sure everything was fixed. They truly saved me thousands and restored cool air for me, my young son, and our animals. Highly recommend!
After getting several quotes, Tyler from Discount Air was the only one who didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. He was honest, straightforward, and focused on what actually made sense. Because of that integrity, he literally saved me thousands of dollars. Professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy from start to finish. 10/10 — highly recommend.
Called Discount for a second opinion on my AC repair. Tyler came out the following day and saved me a ton of money by repairing only what needed to be repaired. Will use Discount again!
We looked to get an island hood install. Another company gave us an excessive quote without even checking the attic. Then we found Discount AC & R! Easy to talk to and quick to come out. Tyler went through everything including the attic and explained things to us. They beat the competition — quoted us 30% of what the other company was charging — with a quality, prompt install and amazing customer service. I cannot tell you how happy we are with the final product. I'm finally in my master chef era!
We use Discount AC as a sub. So from another professional in the industry, they are doing things well. Thank you Discount AC for all your help.

Got Questions?
We’re Here to Help
Why is my AC running without cooling? Warm air can have more than one cause. Tell us whether airflow has changed, the outdoor unit starts, or ice is visible. Our AC repair and diagnostics service identifies the fault before a repair is recommended.
What should a repair estimate include? Ask for the diagnosis, parts and labor, any additional work, and the applicable warranty terms. Access, equipment type and the failed component affect the scope. A website estimate is not a quote for your system.
When is replacement worth comparing? Consider recurring failures, equipment condition and the total repair proposal. If you need a second option, use our guide to comparing AC installation quotes in Phoenix to check what each proposal includes.
How do I request service? Call (480) 478-2616 from 6 AM to midnight with your Phoenix address and symptoms. Availability and arrival time depend on location, current demand and the work required. For ongoing care, see our AC maintenance programs.

As the largest city in the Valley, Phoenix faces some of the most intense summer heat in the country with temperatures regularly exceeding 115 degrees from June through September. That level of sustained heat puts enormous stress on HVAC systems, especially older units in neighborhoods like Arcadia, Maryvale, Ahwatukee, and South Mountain. Our headquarters in Queen Creek puts us just 30 minutes from most Phoenix zip codes, which means faster response times for emergency calls.
Phoenix also has a large concentration of restaurants, warehouses, and commercial kitchens that depend on reliable refrigeration year-round. We service walk-in coolers, ice machines, and reach-in freezers for businesses along the I-10 corridor, in the Warehouse District, and throughout downtown Phoenix. Whether you run a food truck near Roosevelt Row or manage a cold storage facility in West Phoenix, our EPA-certified technicians arrive same-day with fully stocked vans.
Common issues we see in Phoenix include compressor failures caused by overworked condensers, refrigerant leaks from UV-degraded line sets, and clogged drain lines from monsoon dust. We also help Phoenix homeowners upgrade to high-SEER systems that handle desert conditions more efficiently, saving 20 to 30 percent on summer electric bills compared to units rated below 16 SEER.
